Curasight resumes patient enrolment in Phase 1 glioblastoma study following approval of protocol amendment
October 5, 2026
Copenhagen, Denmark, 5 October 2026 - Curasight A/S ("Curasight" or the "Company" - TICKER: CURAS), a clinical-stage radiopharmaceutical company developing uPAR-targeted radiopharmaceuticals for therapy, diagnostics and supporting imaging, today announces that the protocol amendment for its ongoing Phase 1 clinical trial in patients with glioblastoma has been approved by the relevant authorities. The study is designed to assess two important matters in support of Curasight’s glioblastoma therapeutic program:
i) evaluate uTREAT® to characterize tumor delivery, biodistribution and dosimetry and
ii) to identify the most efficient delivery method using super-selective intra-arterial delivery.
Patient enrolment under the amended protocol can therefore resume.
The protocol amendment, announced in July 2026, is designed to optimize the delivery method and generate additional clinical information to support a robust dataset and inform subsequent therapeutic development. Under the amended protocol, newly enrolled patients will receive uTREAT® without mannitol-induced blood-brain barrier disruption.
Ulrich Krasilnikoff, CEO of Curasight, commented:
“We are very pleased that the amended protocol has now been approved and that patient enrolment can resume. The amendment reflects that we see the delivery method as an important feature of the program and underpins our data-driven approach. These data will help inform the subsequent dose-finding and phase 2 studies in the development of our glioblastoma program. We look forward to progressing enrolment and generating the additional data.”
As announced in Curasight’s Interim Report Q2 2026, topline data from the Phase 1 glioblastoma study are expected in H1 2027.
